Belleville Area Museum: FREE Halloween Event {10/29}

This Sunday, 10/29 from 3 pm – 5 pm, the Belleville Area Museum and Archives will be hosting a FREE Children’s Halloween Party! Join them for pizza, games, candy, pinatas, and crafts! All ages welcome. Don’t forget to dress up! Check out their event page on Facebook for more information.

UM Mens Basketball: FREE Selfie Night

The University of Michigan men’s basketball team will host open practice and selfie night on Tuesday, 10/24/17, at Crisler Center. Following the practice session, U-M head coach John Beilein and the Wolverine players will be available for a “Selfie Night” promotion on the concourse level. Coach Beilein, the men’s team and selected women’s players will meet and greet fans and be available for photos and selfies.

All parking surrounding Crisler Center will be free after 5 pm and fans can enter through the northeast entrance of Crisler Center beginning at 5:30 pm. The selfie night schedule is as follows:

5:30 pm – Doors open
6:00 pm – Coach Beilein addresses crowd, introduces players
6:10 pm – Practice Begins
6:50 pm – Skills Session
7:00 pm – Selfies with players on the concourse
7:00 pm – Fan photos on the Crisler court
7:45 pm – Event Concludes

Note that payers and coaches will not sign autographs during the event.

 

Cranbrook Institute of Science: FREE First Friday!

Enjoy a night of FREE science-themed fun at the Cranbrook Institute of Science on Friday, 05/05/17 and 06/02/17 from 5 – 10 pm! The Café and Observatory will be open and planetarium and bat shows are available for a fee. The Cranbrook Institute of Science is located at 39221 Woodward Ave. in Bloomfield Hills, MI.

Metro Parent Camp Expo

On Sunday, 09/25/16, Metro Parents is hosting their 21st Annual Education Expo at the Cranbrook Institute of Science in Bloomfield Hills. It’s a fun event for kids where they and their parents can learn about schools and activities in southeast Michigan while exploring the museum for FREE.

Register in advance online to receive:

Saline Rec Center: 25th Anniversary Celebration {06/12/16}

Sunday, June 12 from 1-4pm at the Saline Rec Center

On Sunday, June 12, 2016 the Saline Rec Center will be celebrating its 25th anniversay  from 1-4pm. A special ceremony will be held at 1 pm then the doors will open for the event. Bouncers, music, cake, hotdogs, swimming, fun and games will be offered FREE for the entire community!
