It’s that time of year where Christmas is all around us! We have Christmas items stocked on store shelves, 24/7 Christmas music on at least one radio station and of course, the controversy with the Starbucks red cups. If you’re looking for a great Christmas tree deal and are willing to cut your own, the Huron-Manistee National Forests in northern Michigan is selling permits at only $5 per tree. Huron-Manistee National Forest offices are located in Cadillac, Manistee, Mio, Oscoda and Baldwin. Officials remind cutters to stay on national forest lands and bring a rope to tie down their trees.
There’s a limit of three permits per household. Even better, any fourth-grader who has a valid Every Kid in a Park pass or paper voucher will get one free Christmas Tree permit!

Toys R Us is currently having a sale where you can take an extra 50% OFF already reduced clothing! They have adorable character shirts for just $3 after taking 1/2 OFF! They also have Christmas items on clearance at 75% OFF! I was able to get frozen wrapping paper for just $1! Check out some of the other items I spotted today:
