Local Happenings: St. Patrick’s Day!

There are so many ways to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day this year in the Ann Arbor Area! Check out some of the local happenings:

  • Shamrocks & Shenanigans (March 9)
    Don’t miss out on the Shamrocks and Shenanigans 5k run and walk in downtown Ann Arbor to help the Mott Children’s Hospital. Join the festivities, run and enjoy live Irish music, Irish dancers, bagpipers and facepainting for the kids all in the heart of downtown.
  • Conor O’Neill’s (March 13-17)
    Enjoy live Irish music, Irish dancers and bagpipers, and even a traditional Irish breakfast will be served.
  • Sham Rock n Roll Run (March 16)
    A festive 10K, 5K Run/Walk race event brought to you by Kona Running Company. Sign up & wear a Rocker costume or anything Green! Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day weekend with a Rock n Roll music themed fun race with live music in historic downtown Plymouth!
  • Bill’s Beer Garden (March 15-17)
    Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day outdoors from 6-11 pm at Bill’s Beer Garden with the opening day of the 2014 season. Weather permitting!
  • Arbor Brewing Company (March 17)
    Partake in a wee bit of fun on St. Patrick’s Day! Top of the Morning Party: Open at 7 am, Featuring a special breakfast menu & special morning Happy Hour until 11 am with 5 Stouts on Tap: Michael Faricy Irish, Blackheath Sweet, Espresso Love Breakfast, St. Pats & Steamroller Russian Imperial Live music: Ghost City Searchlight 6-9 pm Lunch and Dinner Specials. No cover all day long.
  • ABC Microbrewery (March 17)
    Top ‘O The Morning Breakfast featuring an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet to get you ready for the day starting at 7am. With live music, specialty stouts and tons of cheer. No cover, fresh beer and all-day happy hour make the brewery the place to be this St. Pat’s Day!
  • Buffalo Wild Wings (March 17)
    Enjoy progressive beer specials starting at 7 am and karaoke at 10 pm.
  • Haab’s Restaurant (March 17)
    Featuring traditional Irish fare of corned beef and cabbage, boiled potatoes, steamed carrots, and green peas at both lunch and dinner. In addition, you can rest assured that we will have plenty of $2-a-pint of green beer, paddywackers, Guinness Stout, Irish coffee, and a bit of blarney.
  • Sidetrack Bar and Grill (March 17)
    Sidetrack Bar and Grill will have bag pipes and a live band. The kitchen will be serving up hot corned beef and cabbage, Shepherd’s Pie, and Irish Piquet with real Irish soda bread. Featuring St. Patrick’s Day drink specials all day, with no cover charge.
